Radio program producers may have a tremendous amount of responsibility to ensure radio programs on production are making money and have a high volume of listeners to support the advertisers. Producers may be responsible for radio format that could feature music, talk and variety show. Producers of radio programs may have regular hosts who could interview a number of different guests or regular hosts who play a certain variety of music. Some producers oversee radio talk shows that have more than one host; some times as many as three hosts to attract the listeners need to get advertising support money. Producers of radio programs may need to understand the audience before they can effectively create a radio show that will keep the original audience.
